An Automatic Betting Board without giving up commissioner control
Automatic mode adds eligible games and available lines to the Betting Board as they become available, reducing weekly setup.
Commissioners still retain control. An unopened game can be removed when no picks have been placed, and current market lines can be adjusted for future picks when appropriate. Accepted picks retain the line and odds they were accepted at.
Manual mode remains available for commissioners who prefer to build the board themselves.
NFL, College Football, or both
myfbpool can run an NFL-only pool, a College Football-only pool, or one pool that combines both.
A combined Saturday and Sunday pool gives the group one virtual points system and one competition while allowing eligible games from both leagues.
Sportsbook-style picks using virtual points
Depending on commissioner settings, members can make picks on spreads, moneylines, totals, parlays, and teasers.
The pool uses virtual points rather than player deposits or real-money balances. myfbpool does not accept deposits, hold player funds, or process gambling transactions.
Commissioners can also choose Even Money (+100) or sportsbook-style Market Odds for qualifying straight spread and total picks.
Commissioner controls without weekly spreadsheet work
Commissioners can configure starting virtual points, minimum and optional maximum points per pick, available wagering types, eligible games, final week, registration behavior, and other pool settings.
Games, current markets, accepted picks, balances, results, and standings remain together in the same application.
Optional rules for keeping the pool competitive
Weekly Wager Requirement can require members to wager a selected percentage of their virtual points during applicable weeks.
Respawn gives commissioners a rules-based way to restore virtual points to qualifying members whose balances have fallen low enough.
Both features are configured by the commissioner.
Use myfbpool like an app on your phone
myfbpool can be installed on supported iPhone, iPad, and Android devices as a mobile web app.
Once added to the Home Screen, myfbpool opens in its own app-style window and provides direct access to the same live pools, picks, balances, and standings available on the website.
There is no separate App Store or Google Play download and no second myfbpool account to maintain. An Internet connection is required.
Android users can install through a supported browser such as Chrome. iPhone and iPad users can add myfbpool to the Home Screen from Safari.
Restart the pool next season
A pool that worked well should not have to be rebuilt from scratch every year.
myfbpool lets commissioners restart a previous football pool for the next season using the existing pool setup as the starting point. Commissioners can keep the rules that worked, adjust the settings they want to change, and invite prior members back.
