Find a quick answer about your pool, or follow a guide for the details you need before the next weekly card.

What is a Pick’em football pool?

A Pick’em pool is a private competition where members make selections from a weekly card of football games. Points from correct picks determine the standings. It is a straightforward way for coworkers, friends, or family to follow the season together.

Which Pick’em formats does myfbpool offer?

myfbpool offers Straight-Up, Against-the-Spread, and Confidence Pick’em. Straight-Up means choosing winners; Against-the-Spread means choosing teams to cover a point spread. Confidence ranks picks by confidence, with the confidence points assigned to correct picks counting toward the score.

Can we pick NFL games, college games, or both?

Yes. Choose an NFL-only pool, a College Football-only pool, or a combined pool. Supported college football is NCAA Division I FBS. Weekly cards bring the selected games together so members know which matchups count.

How do I join a private Pick’em pool?

Use the invitation from your commissioner and sign in or register to join. If you cannot join, ask the commissioner to check the invitation and whether registration is still open. Joining an existing pool does not require creating another pool.

How do I create and start a Pick’em pool?

Choose Pick’em, select the format and leagues for your group, and create the pool. Then follow the three setup steps: Invite members, Set weekly card publishing, and Start pool.

Follow the commissioner guide

How do weekly picks and deadlines work?

Open the weekly card, review its games, and save your selections before the applicable deadline shown on the card. Check the displayed Pick by times: the pool’s deadline policy can close picks before kickoff. You can update an unlocked pick before its deadline; locked picks stay locked.

How are Straight-Up picks scored?

Each correct winner earns 1 point. A loss or missed pick earns 0 points and does not subtract points. Tied-game scoring follows the pool’s configured rules. Confidence scoring is separate: the confidence points assigned to correct picks count toward the score.

Are weekly tiebreakers the same as season standings?

No. An optional weekly prediction tiebreaker asks for the combined score of a designated game and compares how close each prediction is. Season standings use cumulative points; that weekly prediction does not add points or break season ties.

Can weekly cards publish automatically?

Yes. Automatic publishing works One week at a time. Commissioners can customize an unpublished automatic card without disabling its automatic opening. Manual publishing remains an alternative for commissioners who prefer to choose and open cards themselves.
